Design and Technology is about designing and making objects that people want and that work well. Achieving these things is hugely exciting, creative, and a fun activity in the classroom. Through Design and Technology, all students can become discriminating and informed users of products, as well as imaginative inventors.

Our annual ski-trip to Austria gives students a unique experience for developing friendships across three year groups. These trips are always an outstanding success, with students demonstrating first class team work and social skills while also learning about different cultures, and having enormous fun on the ski slopes.

They may visit Cologne, climb the Languages Ladder, go on a European exchange, enter a language competition, eat chocolate in Belgium, fast track to GCSE, work with Foreign Language Assistants, study AS level, visit Paris, teach Spanish, learn Japanese… The MFL department at Wyvern speaks a fantastic language of fun!
