At Wyvern, our Learning Support Team works to support the learning needs of students of all abilities. We work hard to ensure that we cater for each student in the most appropriate way. A number of Teaching Assistants ensure that the education students receive is consistent, challenging and fully supported. Our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator is always happy to speak with parents, so if you have questions please do not hesitate to ask.

The college governors take a particular interest in how we support all learners, and copies of the college’s Special Education Needs Policy and accessibility plan are available from reception on request.

Able and gifted students are also identified early on in their career at Wyvern. An experienced teacher is responsible for these students, ensuring that motivation and achievement remain high, and that the curriculum is enriched to support their development.
